The Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation
Budj Bim is a cultural heritage landscape located in Western Victoria. The Budj Bim Masterplan encompasses improved visitor amenities and world-class interpretive experiences for communicating the indigenous stories of each landscape. Accuraco were engaged by the Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation as project managers for delivering Stage 1 of the master plan vision.
The scope of work included various tourism infrastructure across five sites including boardwalks, bridges, lookouts, shelters, car parks, a visitor centre and the Traditional Aquaculture Centre. A key role for Accuraco on this project was to coordinate the various authority approvals required due to designing & constructing in such a sensitive environment.
