In January 2016, significant flooding impacted the Multicultural Aged Care Services Geelong Inc. (MACS) facility in North Geelong after an extreme weather event. As a long-standing provider of aged care to culturally diverse communities, MACS required a detailed damage assessment to support their insurance claim and guide restoration.
Accuraco was engaged by Crawford & Co to lead a comprehensive audit. The scope included full-site inspections, accurate measurement, and photographic documentation of affected zones. Detailed reporting and cost estimates were developed to assist insurers, loss adjusters, and quantity surveyors in determining remediation needs. Operating under a strict two-week program, Accuraco completed inspection and reporting on deadline, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations at the live site.
