The City of Hobart experienced an extreme weather event that resulted in damage to the city’s infrastructure. This included bushland infrastructure ranging from fire trails, walking tracks, pedestrian bridges & rock-climbing walls. Accuraco provided full project management services to scope, procure and deliver the works programme.
Given the public nature of these assets, a large number of stakeholders were to be considered including the Council, Wellington Park Trust, authorities & user groups. A key aspect of this project was the funding, provided by the Natural Disaster Recovery Relief Arrangement (NDRRA). This meant careful scope management to meet the strict NDRAA requirements.
