Multilevel Workplace Fitout – Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR)
Following the successful delivery of several fitouts within Melbourne Central Tower, Accuraco was engaged by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) to manage a major 4,500 sqm workplace fitout across Levels 3, 4, and 5.The project brought together multiple teams under one roof and required coordination across multiple government stakeholders, along with future-proofing measures including updates to occupancy permits.
Accuraco worked closely with DEWR to navigate complex design briefs, ensure compliance, and deliver cost-effective, practical solutions. Sustainability and efficiency were prioritised by reusing existing built elements and repurposing AV equipment from previous offices—carefully decommissioned, upgraded, and integrated into the new space.
With strict physical and electronic security requirements, early stakeholder alignment was critical. Accuraco facilitated workshops and engaged independent security consultants to accelerate approvals and meet all standards. The result is a highly secure, modern, and well-received workplace tailored to DEWR’s operational and cultural needs.
