Development Victoria and The Shrine of Remembrance Trust
In preparation for the Centenary of ANZAC and World War I, Accuraco provided Project Management services to Major Projects Victoria for the $45 million redevelopment of the Shrine through the Galleries of Remembrance Project.
The project involved the conversion of 1600 square meters of undercroft space into a permanent exhibition area, as well as the creation of a new Education Centre with a dedicated school entrance. The extension houses a new auditorium and entry courtyard and retail space improvement. Following the base building works, The Shrine of Remembrance Trust directly engaged Accuraco to manage the exhibition fit-out works. This final $5m package comprised the curatorial research and design works, showcase display fit-out, object conservation and installation, exhibition graphics and extensive multimedia hardware, production and infrastructure.
