Accuraco was engaged by The GPT Group to project manage the design and construction of Space & Co’s new co-working facility on Level 12 of Melbourne Central Tower.
Space & Co provides professional and creative workspaces for entrepreneurs, small businesses and project teams. The project set out to bring a new luxury standard of co-working to the Melbourne commercial market, offering a flexible format that combines co-working desks with private suites.
Drawing on the character of classic New York loft and warehouse conversions, the fitout delivers meeting rooms of various sizes, a mix of private and semi-private work areas, collaborative zones, and a dedicated members’ kitchen and breakout space.
The scope included demolition of the existing tenancy, construction of the new co-working environment, furniture procurement, and the installation and upgrade of mechanical, electrical, communications, security and hydraulic services.
